Becca is a 3rd year Historian who joined NCBC in 2020-1. After novicing during Covid in the 1st Novice VIII and having a love-hate relationship with stroke seat, she fell in love with rowing.
Her first senior year turned out to be very successful – winning Winter Head, Fairbairns, headship in Lent Bumps, Champs VIII and Nines Regatta!! Along the way, she learnt the importance of suncream to avoid terrible racerback tan lines, how to tape a blade back together 10 metres before the start line of a race, and that coxing is much harder than it looks!
She was one of the Lower Boats’ Captains for 2021-2022, getting a whole new generation of novices to fall in love with rowing! If that wasn’t enough, she is one of the Captains for 2022-23!
