Maureen wasn’t actually supposed to do any rowing in her first year due to recent surgery, but just couldn’t resist the urge to joint the rowing cult – sorry, club – first rowing in the novice 3rds and 2nds, before rowing with the senior 3rds in Lent and Easter. Given that rowing and socialising is basically all she does at uni, being NCBC’s social sec this year should be a perfect match.
