Helen didn’t novice until her second year in 2018 but since discovering how great NCBC is she has rowed every term since, in crews from the 3rd to the 1st VIIIs. After a slightly less successful (but still fun!) bumps campaign in her first year of rowing her favourite memories are bumping for the first time and then proceeding to go up 3 with the 2nd VIII in Lents 2020 and rowing in the winning 2nd VIII crew at Fairbairns 2019.
When not on the river, Helen is a Natural Sciences student studying Chemistry and can probably be found in the lab where she is investigating new materials for carbon dioxide capture.
